Illustration Friday - Moon 2

Moons ^

I had so much fun with spray painting the paper clips, that I tried spray painting some space art too. Both are 4" X 6" postcard size. Which do you like best?

I love the top one--such form, and glowing colour.

I think I like the second one best...the three tiny moons make the planet seem huge in comparison.

While I think they both have incredible texture and the color palette is spot on, I'm going against the grain and saying the second one. Both are wicked though, excellent job!

Anyone who can bring out the cosmos with a can of spray paint is talented in my book.

I especially like the 'glow' effect the planets have.

Awesome take on the subject! I love the idea of more than one moon, and they really draw the viewer in...very realistic. Great work, my fellow last minute poster, lol!

Wow, I missed these. You really went all out with this topic. They're both wonderful but for some reason I like the bottom one even more.

Thanks, everyone. Using the spray paint is so much fun that I plan to use it on more paintings - once I figure out how I will do them.
